2006 Subaru Forester

Car is in great condition other than the automatic transmission won't select gears. While in sequential it will though. When put into a gear or reverse it crunches and sounds like it wants to select a gear but won't. All the rest of the car is in perfect condition just needs blue slip. Open to reasonable offers including swaps ! Thank you
